Sharing Your Sandwich... AND Your Wealth

At a recent rally, Obama quipped that “I don’t know what’s next. By the end of the week, he’ll (McCain) be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten.”  He continued “I shared my peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the fourth grade.”

Here's the problem; Obama isn't interested in sharing his own toys, sandwich, or his personal wealth with you.  He wants to force others to do it with THEIR wealth, preferably folks who make over $300,000 a year. Wait, make that $250,000.   No, make that $200,000.  Now it’s down to $150,000 (who else is getting an image of limbo dancers here?).

Forget the fact that his targets work anywhere from a 60 to an 80 hour workweek, or that they avoided luxeries (yes, cable TV is considered a luxury.), or didn’t buy items or property, that they couldn’t afford.   Why not make them give some of that wealth to others “less fortunate” than you?  How much money do the wealthy really need, after all?  No need to worry about that, Obama will make that decision for you.

Willingly sharing your wealth with others is called “generosity”.  Being forced by the government to share your wealth to those “less fortunate" is called “socialism”, not "selfishness".

Obama would truly make a fine president.  Really, he would... in Europe. Plus, given his popularity with the Europeans, I'm certain that he would be much happier there.  That is, until the government tells him that he needs to spread HIS wealth around.
